Outreach Ministry

The Mission: To inform the community of all events sponsored by VIC.

The Outreach Ministry is often the first to interact with those in the community. They are the front-runners of greater ministry. We not only disseminate information about upcoming events, but are also the central factor for the “first-impression” people will have about VIC and ultimately, the Kingdom we represent. Those in the ministry utilize their creativity and computer skills to develop the publicity pieces used for most of the VIC events. The Outreach Ministry puts the ideas in which we have faith into action.
“As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”(James 2:26)

The Principles:
Planning- The Outreach Ministry requires a great deal of planning and organization. With so many people to reach we rely on good planning to compensate for limited time. We make plans so God can see our commitment and bless our work. (Ref. Proverbs 16:3)

• Diligence: Diligent workers are a key necessity for the Outreach Ministry. With so many objectives for effective outreach depending on one another, follow-thru becomes very valuable. We accomplish what we set out to do because we remember whom we serve. (Ref. Proverbs 13:4)
• Teamwork:Our greatest commodity is the unity we have in Christ. The Outreach Ministry coordinates a lot of objectives simultaneously, none of which could be accomplished effectively is people do not work together. With many workers, much more can be achieved and many more people can be reached. (Philippians 2:1-3)
